IFET7

Produced 1996-1999. Multi pattern, used 6072 tube, Chinese k67 capsule, and Reichenbach transformer. Used the P-95 power supply, which was originally a 5”x7” box and later redesigned into CE compliant a 5”x10” box.

Produced 1999-2006. Multi-pattern, first 100 or so units had Russian EF86, Latvian k67 capsule, and Reichenbach, later Cinemag transformer. A revised version called the U99b used NOS PF86 tubes, about 50 units produced. The mic then  went to a NOS EF732 and German k67 capsule and went back to being called the U99. The last version of that U99 had a high frequency cut switch, and used the newly designed P-99, all USA made.

Produced 1998-2002. Multi-pattern, used Russian EF86 tube, Latvian k47 capsule,  and custom Jensen, later Reichenbach, transformer. The custom designed Jensen was based on my design for the Reichenbach 96322 that I developed for the U195 in 1995. I was the second production mic to use such a large format transformer.  Mic used the long P-95 USA made psu originally developed for the U95.

Produced 1998-2000. Cardioid only, used NOS 12AT7, Chinese k67 capsule, Reichenbach transformer. Briefly made as a low cost tube mic, it had a  unique frequency shaping circuitry.

Produced  2000-2006. Three patterns, used Russian 6072 tube, our German CK12 & Russian 6072 tube, the first 50 had Lundahl transformers which was changed to an AMI. The first ten had the brighter capsule which was changed to one not quite as bright. After the first 200 units the tube was changed to NOS 5670. Used the P-251 USA made psu, based on the P-99 psu. This was the first  “re-issue” 251 on the market after AKG had ceased production years ago.

Produced 2002-2004.  Multi-pattern, used  NOS EF732 tube, German k47 capsule,  and  P-99 psu. Mic had an internal switch to allow cardioid only OR  multipattern use, and had a detachable headgrille.

Produced 2004-2006. Cardioid only, used NOS EF814k tube, German K47 capsule,  and newly designed USA made N470 psu. Cardioid only.

Produced 2004-2005. Cardioid only,  NOS EF732 tube, modified German CK12 capsule,  Lundahl xfmr, and P-251 psu. Cardioid only ELUX w/proximity effect moved to a higher frequency.

Produced 2005-2006. Cardioid only, used  NOS 5670 tube, German CK12 capsule, and AMI xfmr, and P-251 psu. Real cardioid only version of ELUX 251

Produced 2004-2006. Multipattern, used NOS EF732 tube, Genman k47 capsule,  AMI transformer, and P-99 psu. Had internal multipattern/cardioid only switch.

Produced 1997-2006. Cardioid only mic.  Single fet copy of modified U87 circuit Chinese k67 copy. First few years used Reichenbach 10:1 xfmr, later  a Cinemag, then later that changed ratio to 8.5:1 which resulted in a gain improvement without loss of bandwidth.

Produced 1999-2001. Inexpensive four pattern Chinese k67 capsule transformerless mic.

Produced 2000-2001.  Inexpensive cardioid  Chinese k67 capsule transformerless mic.

Produced 2002-2006. Cardioid dual-amplifier German k47 capsule mic,
